An artistic project. Une dérivé

The last week four groups participated in a project over Braunschweig. They only knew a start point into the city, after that, they had to follow several “signals” or “symbols” through the city, because those guide to an alleged meeting point. The signals could be all you can see in the street, everywhere, a monument, a building, a poster, comercial brands, … Supposedly, the way to the meeting point was drawing in the city and was clear. The four groups started in diferent city´s points and they made their own ways. The truth is that the search hadn´t any end. The city lost his clear and easy to read structure and became the support for a lot of marks. Also, the city is not only the consumption´s context, in our relation with it, we consume the city.

The project´s results are a example of how to understand us or how to orient us in the city today.
